Transitions has been serving survivors of domestic violence for 46 years.
Transitions, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, was founded in 1979. It serves Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan counties and offers three basic services: operating as a shelter, offering court advocacy services and taking crisis calls.
Our Mission
To successfully intervene in the cycle of family violence, child abuse, and sexual abuse by providing a “safe harbor”, personal advocacy, legal advocacy and other related assistance to victims.
Our Vision
To eradicate domestic violence in our community.
